Divine Feminine and Goddess

Do you find it hard to receive help? Do you find yourself sacrificing so much that your self and your own needs become lost? Do you find it a real challenge to let go of an analytical, over-active mind? Do you wish you could be more creative or intuitive?

“We all have both masculine and feminine energies but our culture is still patriarchal in nature, and so learning to receive gracefully is something I suggest we can all help each other with.” ilana alix angelic

Receiving, allowing, listening and being are all divine feminine attributes and can be embodied by people who identify as men, women or non-binary. In other words, it’s not about sex or gender, it’s about the deeper essence of the spirit.

Health and happiness are directly linked to “balance”. The traditional Chinese symbol of Yin and Yang expresses the balance visually. When embodying the feminine, the masculine is not lost and vice versa. There are seasons and timings for everything.

Both masculine and feminine are important. Each have qualities that we all need. Some are more inherent and natural for us than others. Some can be cultivated and developed.

However, our societies have become predominantly masculine in their energy and are, therefore, unbalanced. Many of us can sense that we have lost the ways of the Divine Feminine and have a yearning that we cannot explain.

The Divine Feminine is deeply embodied in nature and all creative energy. The cycles of nature, of birth, death and rebirth are all around us and provide a focus for sacred ritual.

Both divine feminine and divine masculine share certain qualities such as compassionate, wise, loving, benevolent, kind, strong. However, there are archetypal differences and opposing qualities as shown in the table below.

When we reclaim our receptivity, we remember how to receive and allow our own authentic self, which is a pathway to deep peace and contentment.

The events I create, and the private sessions and readings I offer, are designed to support you to access this personal peace.

Goddess

Many of us are familiar with the idea of a God or Gods, but are less acquainted with Goddess, Goddesses and female figures in our religious histories.

Honouring the Divine Feminine not only cultivates the divine feminine qualities which provides us with balance in a largely masculine energy world, it also introduces us to Goddesses.

Goddesses are archetypal, feminine forces or personality traits, or they are real spiritual beings, depending on your personal belief system. They can be warriors, mothers, fertility goddesses, creators, healers, wise ones, abundance goddesses, protectors, manifestors.

Perhaps, most of all, many goddesses are represented to be “Earth Mothers”. Another name for our Mother Earth is “Gaia” (the Ancient Greek personification of the Earth), which you may have heard of.

Mother Earth is a symbol of the interconnectivity of everything on Earth. She is literally the embodiment of the idea “we are all One”.

The idea “we are all One” is more than an idea. As an experience, it is pure bliss. In my own experience, it is pure bliss. Therefore, I am committed to encouraging the cultivation of the Divine Feminine with as many people as I can!

Ultimately, the true nature of the universe, which we are only beginning to understand and perceive, is quantum in nature. Things are not one or the other, they exist inside each other. Time is not past, present and future, it exists all in the one moment.

We are not masculine or feminine energies, we are both!

Advancing to this level of perception is where we have a strong sense of magic, it’s where miracles can happen, it’s where intense peace can be attained.

NAMASTE
