Intuition and Psychic Guidance

Most of us have had an experience of intuition. Perhaps we’ve been thinking of someone and they call? Or perhaps we have a strong feeling about a person or situation being good or bad, and then we later discover we were correct?

Intuition is, by definition, “inner knowing”. Cultivating a relationship with your inner landscape is the first step to greater listening and psychic ability.

Guided visualisations, drumming meditations and simply being “present” with ourselves provide an opportunity to practice this. Some of us see, know, or sense symbols which are psychic messages from the spiritual realms. Spirituality communicates to us in symbols and is beyond words and intellect.

Tools such as oracle cards can be a great way to explore symbolism and meaning. When we want to hear the voice of our unconscious selves, or messages from the spiritual realms card readings can provide this for us. I encourage you to try reading for yourself, and I also offer personal readings.

Being Psychic

  I find that people are curious about what it means to be psychic, how that feels and how it is experienced. So, I feel prompted to speak a little about this from my own perspective. Firstly, I often feel I need to reassure people that I am genuinely not telepathic! Your thoughts are privately your own. I can’t read your mind. Also, I don’t remember every detail of any psychic messages you may have received from me. This is because when I am transmitting psychic messages to people or into my writing, I am acting as a conscious channel. I am merging my cognitive comprehension and communication abilities with the divine forces that I am receiving the information from. I pass on the information as though I am a communication device. Entering Winter

  Entering Winter can be about entering leaner times. Times when there is (historically) less food available, times when there is less warmth from the Sun available, times when the physical environment is more harsh. As a devotee to personal transformation, I am always looking for the “treasure”.  I find that one of the symbolic and refreshing things about these leaner times is the scaling back, the decluttering, the simplicity. For me, there is beauty in the clarity of the season. As I look around in nature, I am able to see through the trees (now they have no leaves) to the views beyond. To me, this resonates with a theme of fewer distractions. The expanded depth of vision provokes feelings of release from confusion and overwhelm.
