Relaxation, Self-Connection, Self-Love
We all have busy lives that strive to keep our attentions focussed outside of ourselves. Do you feel that you have (exhausting) constant mental traffic from planning and organising? Do you feel regularly agitated, irritable, over-tired, stressed, or have trouble sleeping? Do you feel that you rarely (or never!) have time to touch base with yourself and reconnect?
I believe that going within, learning to listen to our intuition, being aware and authentic, are keys to healing and liberation, which lead to good self-esteem.
Many people, and especially women, are drowning with feeling inadequate. We work, we’re parents, we run the home, we care for our own parents, we care about our wider world and the environment.
We very often have such high expectations of ourselves. We’re conscientious by nature and have a tendency to give everything we have, and then more.
Most of us feel we have to reach some next goal in order to be loved (by ourselves and others). Many of us feel we need to buy more, do more, consume more, in order to feel satisfied. It’s exhausting!
I encourage you to gift yourself some time to rest and simply “be”. With practise you can come to know that there is absolutely nothing you need to do, consume or buy, in order to feel loved.
With time you can come to truly know that you have self-acceptance at your deepest core. You can cultivate feelings of self-love and peace.
