Enjoying the sunshine we have been having for Spring? In the UK, where I am, the blossoms are everything right now.  They are glowing with the soft pink colour of the heart chakra, beaming pure love and compassion out into the world. Thank you, Mother Nature. Emergence As Nature emerges into the light half of the year, so do I. I have just been through the deepest winter of my life! There’s so much in the richness of the experience, of committing to the deepest work, in the deepest parts of my self. I may spend the rest of my life articulating and embodying what I have learned!   As I begin to emerge into a secure and grounded sense of self and being, some gentle expansions are beginning to happen. A Portal of Pisces

  On 7 th September we experienced a Pisces full moon lunar eclipse inside a Virgo “sandwich” (a Virgo new moon on 23 rd August and then another on 21 st September). Here’s what I was writing about it then:- “The full moon eclipse in Pisces is so powerful . Right now many of us can feel quite foggy, uncertain and confused, which is exactly the way that Pisces feels! We will invariably respond with wanting to grasp, hold on, and control. This is the journey right now. As we delve deeper into spirit, soul and karmic contracts. As we are experiencing, feeling and seeing the deeper truths. As we are humbled. The greatest transformation is that of finding such a strong connection with the divine that we are able to practice surrender and trust. Phoenix

“What is my point of empowerment?” This is the question of my soul. Having experienced so much dis-empowerment (can you relate?), this is the reach. What alchemy shifts me from one to the other? A higher perspective helps. To see my human body down here on earth, living it’s human life, just one life of many, on just one planet in a large universe. Yet, this takes practice, and certainly doesn’t serve to soothe the pain when I’m really in it. I find Phoenix and her symbolism to be so wide-reaching, all-embracing and penetrating. Perhaps she has always been with me? Whatever way we look at it (whether spirit animals and mythological creatures are real and just in a different dimension, or whether they represent a purely psychological influence), the benefits are still there. I find myself re-visiting her regularly. She calls to me. I start seeing her in my mind’s eye, and sensing the gentle flutter of large, powerful wings together with an almost breathless heat.
